Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) is mandatory for issuing environmental clearance for all the Greenfield and Brownfield projects as per directives of MoEFCC with effect from 1st May, 2018 (O.M.No.22-65/2017- IAIII dt. 19.06.2018). Need based Corporate Environment Responsibility: The Corporate Environment Responsibility is identified on the basis of the need based survey during Environment Impact assessment studies and is fixed by SEAC/EAC. Also the separate fund for implementing the CER is allocated during the appraisal of project.
