Environment Impact Assessment:
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a statutory requirement for most developmental and industrial activities in our country. Its purpose is to identify, examine, assess and evaluate the likely and probable impacts of a proposed project on the environment and, thereby, to work out remedial action plans to minimize adverse impact on the environment.

Environmental Social Impact Assessment Study
ESIA study is pre-project development study which helps to identify the environmental and social issues related to the project development. ESIA study is key requirements for the projects funded by International agencies like ADB, World Bank etc.
ESIA studies helps to identify the impacts of project on environment and society before initiating development so as management plan can be prepared for the impacts. This aids involvement of all stakeholder right from planning stage of the project which increases the environmental and social acceptability of the project and manages the risk and reputation.

Environmental Monitoring Environmental monitoring describes the processes and activities that need to take place to characterize and monitor the quality of the environment. Forest Clearance:
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has issued guidelines for diversion of forest land under the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980. If there is a diversion of forest land is involved, the project has to obtain approval/clearance from the Regional Office of the MoEFCC and/or Central Government (MoEF&CC) after submitting Forest Diversion Proposal

Consent to Establish/Operate:
Under the Section 25 of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, it is mandatory to obtain consent for establishment (prior development of the project) and Operate from State Pollution Control Boards for any industry, operation or process, or any treatment and disposal system or an extension or additional thereto, which is likely to discharge sewage or trade effluent into a stream or well or sewer or on land or bring into use new or altered outlets for the discharge of sewage or begins to make new discharge of sewage
Under Section 21 of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, it is mandatory to obtain consent for establishment (prior development of the project) and operate from State Pollution Control Boards for the industries operating in air pollution control area.
CGWA Clearance:
Central Ground Water Authority has been constituted under Section 3 (3) of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 to regulate and control development and management of ground water resources in the country. Any user of ground water [as defined under sub-section 2(10)] desiring to sink a well in the notified area for any purpose either on personal or community basis, shall apply to the Authority for grant of a permit for this purpose
Half Yearly Compliance to the conditions of Environmental Clearance:
As per the EIA notification, 2006 a mandatory requirement for the project holders is to submit half-yearly compliance reports in respect of the stipulated prior environmental clearance terms and conditions to the regulatory authority.

Implementation of Environment management Plan (EMP) and Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER)

Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) is mandatory for issuing environmental clearance for all the Greenfield and Brownfield projects as per directives of MoEFCC with effect from 1st May, 2018 (O.M.No.22-65/2017- IAIII dt. 19.06.2018). Budgetary provisions should be kept for implementation of provisions of CER for all the projects which will be submitted to MoEFCC for grant of environmental clearance.

Need based Corporate Environment Responsibility: The Corporate Environment Responsibility is identified on the basis of the need based survey during Environment Impact assessment studies and is fixed by SEAC/EAC. Also the separate fund for implementing the CER is allocated during the appraisal of project.
CER implementation: Skilled Enviro Services undertakes the technical and financial feasibility assessment for the activities proposed under CER such as creation of infrastructure for drinking water supply and sanitation in nearby villages and schools, arrangement of medical camps in nearby villages, electrification including solar power, provisions for skill development in nearby villages, plantation in community area, creation of rainwater water harvesting structures in nearby villages and schools etc. Skilled Enviro Services sets the parameters, timelines and budget for each activities proposed under CER. Mining

Under Mineral Conservation & Development Rules, 2017, the existing lessees have to prepare and submit the mining plans and after every five years they have to review the mining plan. The mining plan and the Review of mining plan thus becomes an extremely vital document for the scientific and systematic development of mineral deposits particularly the mining has to be carried out In accordance with the envisaged proposals in the approved mining plan as per Rule 11(1) of Mineral Conservation & Development Rules2017.
